@Ask_Spectrum And DO NOT give me the “Please DM”. This is not something I need a technician to interrupt my day with, again. They have been here, they tested everything, they already know the node is unstable. Fix it.

@Ask_Spectrum I’m so over these outages. Last month you sent out emails saying that service was being upgraded. I’ve had nothing but outages every night since then. $300+ a month for what? I had AT&T internet for 3 years only had 1 outage & it was less than 10 min. Ridiculous.

@Ask_Spectrum When will my Internet be back up?? I handle all of my work duties via home network and our service has been down for over 3 hours with sunny skies and no cloud in site. I haven’t even felt a breeze in a while, so this makes no sense!

@GetSpectrum Please stop with this tackiness and please fix my WiFi.

I’m just so curious what it’s like to have a job where you don’t have to show up on time - if at all - and if you do, you don’t fix the issue and you still get paid no matter what & you can just increase a bill for funsies whenever you want. What’s that like @GetSpectrum?

@IamBirdMomma@GetSpectrum@Starlink We lose signal briefly when it rains really hard. When we lose power the whole house generator kicks on and the reboot is quick. Love Starlink!

AND HERE WE ARE AGAIN! @GetSpectrum@SpectrumBiz All they do is lie. They've now surpassed AT&T in my mind as the worst telecom company on the planet. Absolute joke of a company. Buyer beware!!

@GetSpectrum my deaf mother has been a customer for 15+ years. She went to return her router and modem yesterday, did everything she was supposed to when checking in and they refused to help her because she’s deaf…. Just curious what type of customer service this is. Pathetic.

Charter Spectrum's San Patricio, NM footprint is part of a larger New Mexico plant built on a mix of aerial and underground plant across the Spectrum footprint. The most frequent outage drivers here are severe weather, planned overnight node maintenance, backbone fiber cuts from construction, and utility power events that take amplifiers offline. When report volume rises across neighborhoods such as central, the live console usually lights up before Spectrum's own status tools catch every local node. Watch ZIP codes like 88348 for the earliest neighborhood spikes.

Spectrum not working in San Patricio? Troubleshoot it in order
Separate a local San Patricio Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.
1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking
Check the live San Patricio status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.
2. Internet is connected but nothing loads
Compare against the map: quiet map in San Patricio means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.
3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service
Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat San Patricio reports confirm it is inside your home.
4. TV or cable box out, internet fine
A video-tier fault scoped to the San Patricio headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.
5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time
Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the San Patricio report pattern.
6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down
Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in San Patricio typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.
