@Ask_Spectrum The entire Rancho Sienna neighborhood in Georgetown TX is sick of all the outages. I have direct accounts of 30 Spectrum customers all complaining of intermittent disconnects. When we call support, we're told that we should try reversing our ethernet cables between our Firewalls/Routers and the cable modems. Your lack of serious engagement is leading us all to conclude we should move to @Starlink . PM me if you want to try and salvage your local customer base.

@Ask_Spectrum Yesterday it was "power outage", non-specific, for about an hour. The week before the modem just decided to give up and I had to wait 1.5 days for a tech... I can't rely on Spectrum, need backup at least.

@ATT John Stankey confirmed what our data shows: FWA capacity isn't infinite, and consumer mobile gets prioritized. Where FWA is constrained in rural markets, Starlink takes the customer. Where @GetSpectrum brings fiber, Starlink loses that customer. #FWA #Broadband

@Forbes Considering how ****** and stupid the @GetSpectrum retail employee was when I dropped off my set to box in Brooklyn yesterday.....it's obvious they aren't testing.

@Ask_Spectrum Thank you. Again, it isn’t my account and the account holder is happy enough. So, you’re not out a customer…you just have one less future customer. Spectrum seems to have a lot of outages.

Mineral Springs Spectrum outages — local patterns

Charter Spectrum's Mineral Springs, NC footprint is part of a larger North Carolina plant built on growing Triangle, Charlotte, and coastal footprints. How to check Spectrum outages in Mineral Springs

Confirm whether Spectrum is down in Mineral Springs in under 5 minutes.

  1. 1. Check the live Mineral Springs map

Look at the live status on this page. Report volume above the baseline for Mineral Springs means an active outage.

  2. 2. Verify with your ZIP

Enter your ZIP to see localized report volume across Mineral Springs instead of the broader total.

  3. 3. Rule out your equipment

Only reboot your modem (unplug 60 seconds) if the map is quiet. If reports are spiking, the issue is upstream and a reboot won't help.

  4. 4. Report your outage

Submit a report so other Mineral Springs customers can confirm they're not alone.

  5. 5. Request a bill credit

If the outage lasts more than a couple of hours, contact Spectrum with the start time and your service address to request a prorated credit.

Spectrum not working in Mineral Springs? Troubleshoot it in order

Separate a local Mineral Springs Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.

  1. 1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking

Check the live Mineral Springs status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.

  2. 2. Internet is connected but nothing loads

Compare against the map: quiet map in Mineral Springs means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.

  3. 3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service

Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat Mineral Springs reports confirm it is inside your home.

  4. 4. TV or cable box out, internet fine

A video-tier fault scoped to the Mineral Springs headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.

  5. 5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time

Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the Mineral Springs report pattern.

  6. 6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down

Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in Mineral Springs typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.

The outage information on this page is based on user reports and local service indicators.
