@Ask_Spectrum That doesn't work for me. There are NO details. It's not a technical problem. Whoever programmed the new Guide saw fit to not include date and day on the screen. It was on the old Guide screen. Kinda dumb.

@Ask_Spectrum fix your services! Two days of Will It Work or Not is ridiculous. Find the issue and fix it

@GetSpectrum @GetSpectrum this is about the type of customer service I expect from this company. Y’all are undefeated in the horrible service game.

@GetSpectrum They tell me they'll credit my account for the outage. They never do. A completely useless company that treats their customers like ****. So happy other options are making their way into my neighborhood. **** you

@Ask_Spectrum Thank you I spoke with one of your texts over the phone and he said what my buddy said on the corporate side said when I told him I was thinking of switching to Verizon for them because this problem is so prominent you don’t wanna have Internet from a phone company

Hey @GetSpectrum i understand things happen but having an outage everyday multiple times a day for 3 weeks is ridiculous! That’s not reliable service in the least. What really good?!? 🤨

Marble Spectrum outages — local patterns

Charter Spectrum's Marble, NC footprint is part of a larger North Carolina plant built on growing Triangle, Charlotte, and coastal footprints. The most frequent outage drivers here are hurricanes, tropical remnants, thunderstorms, and coastal/inland construction cuts. When report volume rises across neighborhoods such as central, the live console usually lights up before Spectrum's own status tools catch every local node. Watch ZIP codes like 28905 for the earliest neighborhood spikes.

How to check Spectrum outages in Marble

Confirm whether Spectrum is down in Marble in under 5 minutes.

  1. 1. Check the live Marble map

Look at the live status on this page. Report volume above the baseline for Marble means an active outage.

  2. 2. Verify with your ZIP

Enter your ZIP to see localized report volume across Marble instead of the broader total.

  3. 3. Rule out your equipment

Only reboot your modem (unplug 60 seconds) if the map is quiet. If reports are spiking, the issue is upstream and a reboot won't help.

  4. 4. Report your outage

Submit a report so other Marble customers can confirm they're not alone.

  5. 5. Request a bill credit

If the outage lasts more than a couple of hours, contact Spectrum with the start time and your service address to request a prorated credit.

Spectrum not working in Marble? Troubleshoot it in order

Separate a local Marble Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.

  1. 1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking

Check the live Marble status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.

  2. 2. Internet is connected but nothing loads

Compare against the map: quiet map in Marble means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.

  3. 3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service

Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat Marble reports confirm it is inside your home.

  4. 4. TV or cable box out, internet fine

A video-tier fault scoped to the Marble headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.

  5. 5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time

Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the Marble report pattern.

  6. 6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down

Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in Marble typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.

The outage information on this page is based on user reports and local service indicators.
