@Ask_Spectrum The entire Rancho Sienna neighborhood in Georgetown TX is sick of all the outages. I have direct accounts of 30 Spectrum customers all complaining of intermittent disconnects. When we call support, we're told that we should try reversing our ethernet cables between our Firewalls/Routers and the cable modems. Your lack of serious engagement is leading us all to conclude we should move to @Starlink . PM me if you want to try and salvage your local customer base.

@Ask_Spectrum What I mean by that is the AI isn’t learning and adapting as the questions come in. Just like the problem Apple had with Siri. Very limited in its responses due to it not being able to learn.

Nicely done @GetSpectrum Sucker me back after 9 years by paying for all my streaming apps so I can save money and then fail to provide adequate internet service just like always. You get what you pay for so choose anyone else!!!

Recently got an email claiming to be from @GetSpectrum saying my internet had been upgraded from 400Mb to 500Mb, but I’ve never seen more then 150, and even now it’s only 120. So was it spam?

@adams4SC5@GoKineticFiber@GetSpectrum Been on the ground for months? New one installed on the pole? Why hasn't someone in your neighborhood put it in the garbage yet?

@Ask_Spectrum This is America where the official language is English - not Spanish - so there should be NO REASON for me to have to update or choose anything unless I were Mexican, like your head marketing executive. Until she understands this, I won't be a customer.

@Ask_Spectrum we have lost our internet for almost a week in our second home in Lincoln, NH . I have been trying to contact services on both app and phone without any success - app delegates to phone, phone answering service saying call back later. I need help.

@Ask_Spectrum@GetSpectrum Spectrum really screwed me over. I canceled all my services on May 28. I’ve already switched to another provider. They still charged me for the next two months for services I wasn’t even using and refused to reimburse me for service that was never rendered. I’m already struggling financially and this just made it worse. Not cool at all.
WeSuckUntilWeDon’t(@5xSBChamps) reported55 minutes ago
20 plus minutes to cancel service to @GetSpectrum is beyond ridiculous. I don’t need the whole spill about this and that. Just cancel my damn service like I asked a thousand time 😡

Gallipolis Ferry Spectrum outages — local patterns
Charter Spectrum's Gallipolis Ferry, WV footprint is part of a larger West Virginia plant built on a mix of aerial and underground plant across the Spectrum footprint. The most frequent outage drivers here are severe weather, planned overnight node maintenance, backbone fiber cuts from construction, and utility power events that take amplifiers offline. When report volume rises across neighborhoods such as central, the live console usually lights up before Spectrum's own status tools catch every local node. Watch ZIP codes like 25515 for the earliest neighborhood spikes.

Spectrum not working in Gallipolis Ferry? Troubleshoot it in order
Separate a local Gallipolis Ferry Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.
1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking
Check the live Gallipolis Ferry status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.
2. Internet is connected but nothing loads
Compare against the map: quiet map in Gallipolis Ferry means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.
3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service
Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat Gallipolis Ferry reports confirm it is inside your home.
4. TV or cable box out, internet fine
A video-tier fault scoped to the Gallipolis Ferry headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.
5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time
Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the Gallipolis Ferry report pattern.
6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down
Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in Gallipolis Ferry typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.
