@RippleFiber is down yet again. I didn't think it was possible, but starting to think it's less reliable than @GetSpectrum was here, and that was terrible for over a decade. What an unbelievable statement in the year 2026. 😮‍💨

@GetSpectrum @Ask_Spectrum They don't care because they don't have to. Terrible systems and embarrassing customer service. I am stuck with them.

I wish @Ask_Spectrum would provide some update on outages to customers. Just issuing a blanket statement such as you’re currently in an outage, we’re working on it, our customer service agents can’t tell you anything else so don’t ask is completely unacceptable!

How to check Spectrum outages in Southern California Gas Comp

Confirm whether Spectrum is down in Southern California Gas Comp in under 5 minutes.

  1. 1. Check the live Southern California Gas Comp map

Look at the live status on this page. Report volume above the baseline for Southern California Gas Comp means an active outage.

  2. 2. Verify with your ZIP

Enter your ZIP to see localized report volume across Southern California Gas Comp instead of the broader total.

  3. 3. Rule out your equipment

Only reboot your modem (unplug 60 seconds) if the map is quiet. If reports are spiking, the issue is upstream and a reboot won't help.

Submit a report so other Southern California Gas Comp customers can confirm they're not alone.

  5. 5. Request a bill credit

If the outage lasts more than a couple of hours, contact Spectrum with the start time and your service address to request a prorated credit.

Spectrum not working in Southern California Gas Comp? Troubleshoot it in order

Separate a local Southern California Gas Comp Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.

  1. 1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking

Check the live Southern California Gas Comp status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.

  2. 2. Internet is connected but nothing loads

Compare against the map: quiet map in Southern California Gas Comp means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.

  3. 3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service

Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat Southern California Gas Comp reports confirm it is inside your home.

  4. 4. TV or cable box out, internet fine

A video-tier fault scoped to the Southern California Gas Comp headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.

  5. 5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time

Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the Southern California Gas Comp report pattern.

  6. 6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down

Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in Southern California Gas Comp typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.

The outage information on this page is based on user reports and local service indicators.
