@Ask_Spectrum What I mean by that is the AI isn’t learning and adapting as the questions come in. Just like the problem Apple had with Siri. Very limited in its responses due to it not being able to learn.

@Ask_Spectrum Yes. Take a look at the outage in my area and fix it. And I don't know... maybe you should have added some batteries or a generator to keep it from happening again?

@Ask_Spectrum I don’t think you’re service can be fixed. I’d like to just change provider but I’m stuck with you

@Ask_Spectrum I’m so over these outages. Last month you sent out emails saying that service was being upgraded. I’ve had nothing but outages every night since then. $300+ a month for what? I had AT&T internet for 3 years only had 1 outage & it was less than 10 min. Ridiculous.

@Ask_Spectrum pick the absolute worst times in the world to do "upgrades to your service" their excuse is "oh we thought everyone would be sleeping" no your answer should be "we are an absolute **** company and charge you way to much for the absolutely garbage service we provide"

Charter Spectrum's Sandwich, MA footprint is part of a larger Massachusetts plant built on a mix of aerial and underground plant across the Spectrum footprint. The most frequent outage drivers here are severe weather, planned overnight node maintenance, backbone fiber cuts from construction, and utility power events that take amplifiers offline. When report volume rises across neighborhoods such as central, the live console usually lights up before Spectrum's own status tools catch every local node. Watch ZIP codes like 02563 for the earliest neighborhood spikes.

Spectrum not working in Sandwich? Troubleshoot it in order
Separate a local Sandwich Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.
1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking
Check the live Sandwich status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.
2. Internet is connected but nothing loads
Compare against the map: quiet map in Sandwich means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.
3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service
Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat Sandwich reports confirm it is inside your home.
4. TV or cable box out, internet fine
A video-tier fault scoped to the Sandwich headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.
5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time
Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the Sandwich report pattern.
6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down
Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in Sandwich typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.
