@LLuth72 We definitely understand the frustration. In order to look into this and find out what's going on, we'd have to get personal account information to access your services. We ask that you do so privately by messaging us via DM. A Direct Message (DM) is a private message sent through X (Twitter). You can send us a DM by just sending a message to Ask_Spectrum using the messaging system in X. We attempted to send a DM to you from this end to help but it appears that your setting prevent this

@Ask_Spectrum As expected. Good job of doing damage control by responding to my post and acting like you’re all over it.

@getspectrum Why would anyone sign up with you. I had 500gb service for internet for which you happily charged me $90+. When I switched to Fidium for four times the speed for $45 guaranteed for years, you suddenly were willing to decrease your price to 20$

@Ask_Spectrum pick the absolute worst times in the world to do "upgrades to your service" their excuse is "oh we thought everyone would be sleeping" no your answer should be "we are an absolute **** company and charge you way to much for the absolutely garbage service we provide"

Today’s show might be up a bit late because the internet cut out AGAIN in the fifth attempt at recording the show. @GetSpectrum you’re the worst

It might be time to cancel my @Ask_Spectrum. No changes to my cable or internet plan in 3+ years and my bill has gone from $180 to $250 to $270 and now to $280 this month. Getting charged $10/month more for internet now despite no changes to my plan. Fraud *** company.
adriann•breazy(@ItsAdriann) reported34 minutes ago
@GetSpectrum why does your monthly fee keep going UP with no advanced notice to the customer?? And no alternative options provided? This is the 3rd time my rate has increased with no notice. You're pissing me off.

Has anyone else been having issues with @Ask_Spectrum the last few weeks. The video is glitchy and the sound goes in and out several times an hour
GGHartley(@GGHartleyTV) reported47 minutes ago
@Ask_Spectrum Ahh...more corporate bull crap.
Lori Ann(@kjnsmom) reported54 minutes ago
@jeannieturfmom@GetSpectrum We don't have a ton of options. One option is down more than it's on (and it's $100), the other we got rid of after it went out during the semi finals of Michigan's natty run (football)

@GetSpectrum I work from home and my Internet is always down, what’s up with that? I’m really sick of it

@Ask_Spectrum How long do you think I should wait to call Nick back though? I mean he just called the other day and I don't want to seem like too needy but on the other hand I mean I feel bad about having left Spectrum lol

Pacific Area Office Spectrum outages — local patterns
Charter Spectrum's Pacific Area Office, CA footprint is part of a larger California plant built on large aerial coax and fiber footprints across Southern CA and fire-prone WUI zones. The most frequent outage drivers here are Public Safety Power Shutoffs, wildfire smoke, and Santa Ana wind damage on aerial plant. When report volume rises across neighborhoods such as central, the live console usually lights up before Spectrum's own status tools catch every local node. Watch ZIP codes like 94199 for the earliest neighborhood spikes.

Spectrum not working in Pacific Area Office? Troubleshoot it in order
Separate a local Pacific Area Office Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.
1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking
Check the live Pacific Area Office status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.
2. Internet is connected but nothing loads
Compare against the map: quiet map in Pacific Area Office means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.
3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service
Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat Pacific Area Office reports confirm it is inside your home.
4. TV or cable box out, internet fine
A video-tier fault scoped to the Pacific Area Office headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.
5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time
Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the Pacific Area Office report pattern.
6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down
Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in Pacific Area Office typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.
