@Ask_Spectrum It's being addressed...tomorrow...half way through the work day. That's the earliest appointment I could get... I kinda work from home... I just can't understand why every interaction I have with Spectrum is just this level of horrible.

@GetSpectrum "Seamless Connectivity. Fastest and Most Reliable Internet. Endless Entertainment. It's Only Everything." is BS. My internet and cable is out. Technical support says they're busy and hangs up on me. Chat sends me to tech support. Middle of the work day and I am DITW.

No internet at home this morning. 😒🙄 Apparently @GetSpectrum has been playing games trying to boost the speed from 400mbps to 500mbps by changing the frequency or some such nonsense. 🙄 Doesn't appear to be working to well. Keep losing my connection multiple times per day. 🫤 I pay these knuckleheads $90 per month for unreliable internet, ever since they started playing these increase the speed games. Worst part is I live in an apartment building so there is only so much they can do since the

@Ask_Spectrum And DO NOT give me the “Please DM”. This is not something I need a technician to interrupt my day with, again. They have been here, they tested everything, they already know the node is unstable. Fix it.

North Dartmouth Spectrum outages — local patterns

Charter Spectrum's North Dartmouth, MA footprint is part of a larger Massachusetts plant built on a mix of aerial and underground plant across the Spectrum footprint. The most frequent outage drivers here are severe weather, planned overnight node maintenance, backbone fiber cuts from construction, and utility power events that take amplifiers offline. When report volume rises across neighborhoods such as central, the live console usually lights up before Spectrum's own status tools catch every local node. Watch ZIP codes like 02747 for the earliest neighborhood spikes.

How to check Spectrum outages in North Dartmouth

Confirm whether Spectrum is down in North Dartmouth in under 5 minutes.

  1. 1. Check the live North Dartmouth map

Look at the live status on this page. Report volume above the baseline for North Dartmouth means an active outage.

  2. 2. Verify with your ZIP

Enter your ZIP to see localized report volume across North Dartmouth instead of the broader total.

  3. 3. Rule out your equipment

Only reboot your modem (unplug 60 seconds) if the map is quiet. If reports are spiking, the issue is upstream and a reboot won't help.

  4. 4. Report your outage

Submit a report so other North Dartmouth customers can confirm they're not alone.

  5. 5. Request a bill credit

If the outage lasts more than a couple of hours, contact Spectrum with the start time and your service address to request a prorated credit.

Spectrum not working in North Dartmouth? Troubleshoot it in order

Separate a local North Dartmouth Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.

  1. 1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking

Check the live North Dartmouth status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.

  2. 2. Internet is connected but nothing loads

Compare against the map: quiet map in North Dartmouth means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.

  3. 3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service

Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat North Dartmouth reports confirm it is inside your home.

  4. 4. TV or cable box out, internet fine

A video-tier fault scoped to the North Dartmouth headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.

  5. 5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time

Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the North Dartmouth report pattern.

  6. 6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down

Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in North Dartmouth typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.

The outage information on this page is based on user reports and local service indicators.
