No internet at home this morning. 😒🙄 Apparently @GetSpectrum has been playing games trying to boost the speed from 400mbps to 500mbps by changing the frequency or some such nonsense. 🙄 Doesn't appear to be working to well. Keep losing my connection multiple times per day. 🫤 I pay these knuckleheads $90 per month for unreliable internet, ever since they started playing these increase the speed games. Worst part is I live in an apartment building so there is only so much they can do since the

I’m just so curious what it’s like to have a job where you don’t have to show up on time - if at all - and if you do, you don’t fix the issue and you still get paid no matter what & you can just increase a bill for funsies whenever you want. What’s that like @GetSpectrum?

Tried to cancel our @GetSpectrum internet peacefully, but apparently cancellation requires an interrogation, a heated argument, and the rep telling me I don't know what my internet needs are. But at least I'm out.

I wish I would not have ever switched to @GetSpectrum for mobile service by far the worst experience ever

@Ask_Spectrum Actually you all just recite corporate bull crap instead of helping paying customers. Otherwise I wouldn't have had to deal with this worthless internet since February. Also it's my only option so your company doesn't care in the slightest.

Hey @GetSpectrum I think I've mentioned this before, but your service sucks
John Posey(@J_Posey08) reported18 minutes ago
@Ask_Spectrum When will my Internet be back up?? I handle all of my work duties via home network and our service has been down for over 3 hours with sunny skies and no cloud in site. I haven’t even felt a breeze in a while, so this makes no sense!
Naima(@Neematessa) reported20 minutes ago
@Ask_Spectrum And DO NOT give me the “Please DM”. This is not something I need a technician to interrupt my day with, again. They have been here, they tested everything, they already know the node is unstable. Fix it.

@GetSpectrum I just had another horrific experience with this company. I swear they are undefeated in terrible customer service.

Recently got an email claiming to be from @GetSpectrum saying my internet had been upgraded from 400Mb to 500Mb, but I’ve never seen more then 150, and even now it’s only 120. So was it spam?

@Ask_Spectrum The entire Rancho Sienna neighborhood in Georgetown TX is sick of all the outages. I have direct accounts of 30 Spectrum customers all complaining of intermittent disconnects. When we call support, we're told that we should try reversing our ethernet cables between our Firewalls/Routers and the cable modems. Your lack of serious engagement is leading us all to conclude we should move to @Starlink . PM me if you want to try and salvage your local customer base.

Dear dumb bastards @Ask_Spectrum your service sucks. And **** off. With all due respect.
Isacc(@isaccshadwick) reported36 minutes ago
If you are thinking about switching providers do not I repeat go to @Ask_Spectrum mobile. Ironically took me about 30 minutes to send this tweet bc the service is so bad.

At this point, I’m convinced @Ask_Spectrum is a front because holy ****….they certainly don’t make internet like they claim

What to do right now in Minnesota
Check the live map above. If reports are spiking in Minnesota, sit tight — it's likely not just your modem.
Reboot your modem only if the map is quiet near you. Unplug for 60 seconds, plug back in, and wait 2–3 minutes.
Run a speed test. Our real speed test confirms whether your connection is degraded even if it is technically online.
Report your outage below. Your report helps neighbors in Minnesota know it's not just them.
Document the outage. Note the start time — you'll need it to request a bill credit later.
Charter Spectrum's Minnesota, MN footprint is part of a larger Minnesota plant built on a mix of aerial and underground plant across the Spectrum footprint. The most frequent outage drivers here are severe weather, planned overnight node maintenance, backbone fiber cuts from construction, and utility power events that take amplifiers offline. When report volume rises across neighborhoods such as central, the live console usually lights up before Spectrum's own status tools catch every local node. Watch ZIP codes like 55959 for the earliest neighborhood spikes.

Spectrum not working in Minnesota? Troubleshoot it in order
Separate a local Minnesota Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.
1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking
Check the live Minnesota status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.
2. Internet is connected but nothing loads
Compare against the map: quiet map in Minnesota means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.
3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service
Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat Minnesota reports confirm it is inside your home.
4. TV or cable box out, internet fine
A video-tier fault scoped to the Minnesota headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.
5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time
Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the Minnesota report pattern.
6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down
Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in Minnesota typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.
