@GetSpectrum 24 hours of outage for our business service in NYC. Intermittent outages over the last month, brushed aside by service. What exactly is the problem? You could've re-wired the whole block by now.

@Ask_Spectrum What I mean by that is the AI isn’t learning and adapting as the questions come in. Just like the problem Apple had with Siri. Very limited in its responses due to it not being able to learn.

Calling to cancel my #spectrum internet, if they would have tried to keep me this hard last week when I called them to lower my bill I may not have switched to @att but last week could not have cared if I stayed or left. @GetSpectrum

@Ask_Spectrum I just freak out how horrible spectrum’s AI chat feature is when they’re such a big company and they should have the resources to provide a better experience instead of running us in circles and asking the same repetitive questions

@Ask_Spectrum tried to do self install on Monday didn’t work. Returned equipment to the store on Friday received a bill for $70. Abrasive associate at the store told me spectrum doesn’t pro rate now I’m stuck with a $70 bill for something I never got.

@GetSpectrum why can’t I add TV service to my mobile plan? I don’t need home Internet, but I do need TV service and apparently you can’t get standalone TV service on spectrum? That should be an option

Nicely done @GetSpectrum Sucker me back after 9 years by paying for all my streaming apps so I can save money and then fail to provide adequate internet service just like always. You get what you pay for so choose anyone else!!!

@Ask_Spectrum The entire Rancho Sienna neighborhood in Georgetown TX is sick of all the outages. I have direct accounts of 30 Spectrum customers all complaining of intermittent disconnects. When we call support, we're told that we should try reversing our ethernet cables between our Firewalls/Routers and the cable modems. Your lack of serious engagement is leading us all to conclude we should move to @Starlink . PM me if you want to try and salvage your local customer base.

@GetSpectrum is a damn scam.. the internet service is never operating at the amount you pay for, there’s an outage almost weekly and now you need WiFi extenders to cover a basic home???!! Just trash!

@ladydshops@GetSpectrum@Starlink Its so stupid prices keep rising and service gets worse and worse. What genius decides to take down internet services at 5PM on a Friday?! It'll be back in a few hours, or so the app says but this is ridiculous

Charter Spectrum's Lisco, NE footprint is part of a larger Nebraska plant built on a mix of aerial and underground plant across the Spectrum footprint. The most frequent outage drivers here are severe weather, planned overnight node maintenance, backbone fiber cuts from construction, and utility power events that take amplifiers offline. When report volume rises across neighborhoods such as central, the live console usually lights up before Spectrum's own status tools catch every local node. Watch ZIP codes like 69148 for the earliest neighborhood spikes.

Spectrum not working in Lisco? Troubleshoot it in order
Separate a local Lisco Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.
1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking
Check the live Lisco status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.
2. Internet is connected but nothing loads
Compare against the map: quiet map in Lisco means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.
3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service
Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat Lisco reports confirm it is inside your home.
4. TV or cable box out, internet fine
A video-tier fault scoped to the Lisco headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.
5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time
Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the Lisco report pattern.
6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down
Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in Lisco typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.
