@Ask_Spectrum Spectrum still sucks and they've closed their inbox. I was told to DM, but they've disabled that. Come get your ****. I don't have money for AI bullshit and a service that doesn't work!!! I've been thrown offline at least 5 times per day. Phone & Wifi

@Ask_Spectrum An outage every time it rains now “due to a power outage in your area” shows you’re neglecting you’re infrastructure. This constant issue has only started the past year and continually gotten worse. Honestly I’m done complaining and just ready to leave after 15 years.

@Ask_Spectrum pick the absolute worst times in the world to do "upgrades to your service" their excuse is "oh we thought everyone would be sleeping" no your answer should be "we are an absolute **** company and charge you way to much for the absolutely garbage service we provide"

@IamBirdMomma@GetSpectrum@Starlink We lose signal briefly when it rains really hard. When we lose power the whole house generator kicks on and the reboot is quick. Love Starlink!

I was pleasantly surprised with @GetSpectrum while helping an elderly person get her internet set up; their support line was answered, get this, BY AN AMERICAN that spoke ENGLISH! Stunned, I tell you. My only complaint is I was on hold for far too long (24 minutes).

@Ask_Spectrum The entire Rancho Sienna neighborhood in Georgetown TX is sick of all the outages. I have direct accounts of 30 Spectrum customers all complaining of intermittent disconnects. When we call support, we're told that we should try reversing our ethernet cables between our Firewalls/Routers and the cable modems. Your lack of serious engagement is leading us all to conclude we should move to @Starlink . PM me if you want to try and salvage your local customer base.

@Ask_Spectrum is there an outage? My internet is gone.

@jeannieturfmom@GetSpectrum We don't have a ton of options. One option is down more than it's on (and it's $100), the other we got rid of after it went out during the semi finals of Michigan's natty run (football)

@Ask_Spectrum No thank you. You're only going to try and talk me into a more expensive package with the lure of a promotion that's only good for a year and then wait for me to forget when the promotion period is over. It's what happens every time I speak to customer service.
Pooya Hatami(@Pooyahat) reported58 minutes ago
Tried to cancel our @GetSpectrum internet peacefully, but apparently cancellation requires an interrogation, a heated argument, and the rep telling me I don't know what my internet needs are. But at least I'm out.

Charter Spectrum's Lindsay, NE footprint is part of a larger Nebraska plant built on a mix of aerial and underground plant across the Spectrum footprint. The most frequent outage drivers here are severe weather, planned overnight node maintenance, backbone fiber cuts from construction, and utility power events that take amplifiers offline. When report volume rises across neighborhoods such as central, the live console usually lights up before Spectrum's own status tools catch every local node. Watch ZIP codes like 68644 for the earliest neighborhood spikes.

Spectrum not working in Lindsay? Troubleshoot it in order
Separate a local Lindsay Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.
1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking
Check the live Lindsay status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.
2. Internet is connected but nothing loads
Compare against the map: quiet map in Lindsay means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.
3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service
Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat Lindsay reports confirm it is inside your home.
4. TV or cable box out, internet fine
A video-tier fault scoped to the Lindsay headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.
5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time
Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the Lindsay report pattern.
6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down
Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in Lindsay typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.
