@Ask_Spectrum What I mean by that is the AI isn’t learning and adapting as the questions come in. Just like the problem Apple had with Siri. Very limited in its responses due to it not being able to learn.

@NYCMayor @GetSpectrum is particularly bad about not allowing new yorkers to cancel their services. Forcing them to call or wait in store for hours on end to be able to end service. No ability to cancel on their website.

@GetSpectrum I upgraded to the best Internet you offer with the $10/mo for protection if power goes out. I’ve had at-least 10 Internet outages but never a power outage. Even with Ethernet, I get intermittent lag spikes while gaming. I really hope this upgrade fixes that because @TMobile is looking good rn 👀

@Ask_Spectrum what annoys me is I’m paying 300 bucks a month for service… but in the event of an unexpected accident yall don’t have anyone that can come out to fix my cable cord THAT WAS CUT by a neighbor until Monday… and I work from home

I was pleasantly surprised with @GetSpectrum while helping an elderly person get her internet set up; their support line was answered, get this, BY AN AMERICAN that spoke ENGLISH! Stunned, I tell you. My only complaint is I was on hold for far too long (24 minutes).

@GetSpectrum their chats even hang up on you when you're in an outage. Don't "GetSpectrum" if you actually want to work.

Hey @GetSpectrum i understand things happen but having an outage everyday multiple times a day for 3 weeks is ridiculous! That’s not reliable service in the least. What really good?!? 🤨

AND HERE WE ARE AGAIN! @GetSpectrum@SpectrumBiz All they do is lie. They've now surpassed AT&T in my mind as the worst telecom company on the planet. Absolute joke of a company. Buyer beware!!

@GetSpectrum is a damn scam.. the internet service is never operating at the amount you pay for, there’s an outage almost weekly and now you need WiFi extenders to cover a basic home???!! Just trash!

20 plus minutes to cancel service to @GetSpectrum is beyond ridiculous. I don’t need the whole spill about this and that. Just cancel my damn service like I asked a thousand time 😡

Charter Spectrum's Leonardville, KS footprint is part of a larger Kansas plant built on a mix of aerial and underground plant across the Spectrum footprint. The most frequent outage drivers here are severe weather, planned overnight node maintenance, backbone fiber cuts from construction, and utility power events that take amplifiers offline. When report volume rises across neighborhoods such as central, the live console usually lights up before Spectrum's own status tools catch every local node. Watch ZIP codes like 66449 for the earliest neighborhood spikes.

Spectrum not working in Leonardville? Troubleshoot it in order
Separate a local Leonardville Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.
1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking
Check the live Leonardville status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.
2. Internet is connected but nothing loads
Compare against the map: quiet map in Leonardville means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.
3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service
Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat Leonardville reports confirm it is inside your home.
4. TV or cable box out, internet fine
A video-tier fault scoped to the Leonardville headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.
5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time
Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the Leonardville report pattern.
6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down
Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in Leonardville typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.
