@Ask_Spectrum over a dozen outages in less than a year in East TX. Most of those multiple hours. Get it together or all the rural people yall spent millions on to get service to will easily swap back to Starlink.

@Ask_Spectrum it's not a billing concern that is reviewable.Bill went from $171 to $185 for no reason, & with no service improvements. No changes were made, and NO I won't simply downgrade my service to bring the bill lower. There was ZERO reason to raise it to begin with! I am close to done!

I wish @Ask_Spectrum would provide some update on outages to customers. Just issuing a blanket statement such as you’re currently in an outage, we’re working on it, our customer service agents can’t tell you anything else so don’t ask is completely unacceptable!

Crazy to think I actually pay for @GetSpectrum but have yet to have ONE day without problems...if I was able to get the real fiber and not the fake fiber thru your coaxial cable I'm sure I wouldn't have any issues. #Strugglewithspectrum

@ladydshops @GetSpectrum @Starlink It may be something we take a serious look into. Spectrum and even Nation Grid are just hot garbage plain and simple.

adriann•breazy(@ItsAdriann) reported31 minutes ago
@GetSpectrum why does your monthly fee keep going UP with no advanced notice to the customer?? And no alternative options provided? This is the 3rd time my rate has increased with no notice. You're pissing me off.

Charter Spectrum's Laurel Fork, VA footprint is part of a larger Virginia plant built on a mix of aerial and underground plant across the Spectrum footprint. The most frequent outage drivers here are severe weather, planned overnight node maintenance, backbone fiber cuts from construction, and utility power events that take amplifiers offline. When report volume rises across neighborhoods such as central, the live console usually lights up before Spectrum's own status tools catch every local node. Watch ZIP codes like 24352 for the earliest neighborhood spikes.

Spectrum not working in Laurel Fork? Troubleshoot it in order
Separate a local Laurel Fork Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.
1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking
Check the live Laurel Fork status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.
2. Internet is connected but nothing loads
Compare against the map: quiet map in Laurel Fork means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.
3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service
Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat Laurel Fork reports confirm it is inside your home.
4. TV or cable box out, internet fine
A video-tier fault scoped to the Laurel Fork headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.
5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time
Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the Laurel Fork report pattern.
6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down
Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in Laurel Fork typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.
