No internet at home this morning. 😒🙄 Apparently @GetSpectrum has been playing games trying to boost the speed from 400mbps to 500mbps by changing the frequency or some such nonsense. 🙄 Doesn't appear to be working to well. Keep losing my connection multiple times per day. 🫤 I pay these knuckleheads $90 per month for unreliable internet, ever since they started playing these increase the speed games. Worst part is I live in an apartment building so there is only so much they can do since the

What’s up with y’all’s Internet, @Ask_Spectrum? Seriously. My Spectrum Business Internet and phones have been down since yesterday. I can’t keep a stable connection under any kind of load. My business is losing money because of this outage. If Spectrum doesn’t compensate us, I’m switching to AT&T or ???. To anyone considering Spectrum: don’t. Save your sanity and your money.
Pooya Hatami(@Pooyahat) reported54 minutes ago
Tried to cancel our @GetSpectrum internet peacefully, but apparently cancellation requires an interrogation, a heated argument, and the rep telling me I don't know what my internet needs are. But at least I'm out.

@Ask_Spectrum What I mean by that is the AI isn’t learning and adapting as the questions come in. Just like the problem Apple had with Siri. Very limited in its responses due to it not being able to learn.
Mack Schrock(@schrockmr) reported55 minutes ago
It might be time to cancel my @Ask_Spectrum. No changes to my cable or internet plan in 3+ years and my bill has gone from $180 to $250 to $270 and now to $280 this month. Getting charged $10/month more for internet now despite no changes to my plan. Fraud *** company.

Charter Spectrum's Fort Washakie, WY footprint is part of a larger Wyoming plant built on a mix of aerial and underground plant across the Spectrum footprint. The most frequent outage drivers here are severe weather, planned overnight node maintenance, backbone fiber cuts from construction, and utility power events that take amplifiers offline. When report volume rises across neighborhoods such as central, the live console usually lights up before Spectrum's own status tools catch every local node. Watch ZIP codes like 82514 for the earliest neighborhood spikes.

Spectrum not working in Fort Washakie? Troubleshoot it in order
Separate a local Fort Washakie Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.
1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking
Check the live Fort Washakie status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.
2. Internet is connected but nothing loads
Compare against the map: quiet map in Fort Washakie means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.
3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service
Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat Fort Washakie reports confirm it is inside your home.
4. TV or cable box out, internet fine
A video-tier fault scoped to the Fort Washakie headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.
5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time
Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the Fort Washakie report pattern.
6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down
Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in Fort Washakie typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.
