I’m just so curious what it’s like to have a job where you don’t have to show up on time - if at all - and if you do, you don’t fix the issue and you still get paid no matter what & you can just increase a bill for funsies whenever you want. What’s that like @GetSpectrum?

@Ask_Spectrum we have lost our internet for almost a week in our second home in Lincoln, NH . I have been trying to contact services on both app and phone without any success - app delegates to phone, phone answering service saying call back later. I need help.

@GetSpectrum@Ask_Spectrum They don't care because they don't have to. Terrible systems and embarrassing customer service. I am stuck with them.

@Ask_Spectrum if I had concerns about trees and tree limbs that could cause issues to spectrum lines, who do I contact?
linda harrington(@lshtls) reported21 minutes ago
@GetSpectrum how do you stay in business? You’ve torn up my lawn, my service is out again today, and you leave a voice mail that my service is out. No sh*t Sherlock! Now when I call I get an obnoxious mechanical voice that keeps looping around to the same question. I’d like to say do better, but I don’t think it’s possible.

@GetSpectrum likes to cut out every 30m and then when you use their support app to try to get them to fix the constant cutouts they refuse to actually fix anything and blame your equipment. ridiculous bs for **** they're charging $90/mo for.

@Ask_Spectrum The entire Rancho Sienna neighborhood in Georgetown TX is sick of all the outages. I have direct accounts of 30 Spectrum customers all complaining of intermittent disconnects. When we call support, we're told that we should try reversing our ethernet cables between our Firewalls/Routers and the cable modems. Your lack of serious engagement is leading us all to conclude we should move to @Starlink . PM me if you want to try and salvage your local customer base.
adriann•breazy(@ItsAdriann) reported36 minutes ago
@GetSpectrum why does your monthly fee keep going UP with no advanced notice to the customer?? And no alternative options provided? This is the 3rd time my rate has increased with no notice. You're pissing me off.

Charter Spectrum's Collinsville, OK footprint is part of a larger Oklahoma plant built on a mix of aerial and underground plant across the Spectrum footprint. The most frequent outage drivers here are severe weather, planned overnight node maintenance, backbone fiber cuts from construction, and utility power events that take amplifiers offline. When report volume rises across neighborhoods such as central, the live console usually lights up before Spectrum's own status tools catch every local node. Watch ZIP codes like 74021 for the earliest neighborhood spikes.

Spectrum not working in Collinsville? Troubleshoot it in order
Separate a local Collinsville Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.
1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking
Check the live Collinsville status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.
2. Internet is connected but nothing loads
Compare against the map: quiet map in Collinsville means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.
3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service
Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat Collinsville reports confirm it is inside your home.
4. TV or cable box out, internet fine
A video-tier fault scoped to the Collinsville headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.
5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time
Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the Collinsville report pattern.
6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down
Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in Collinsville typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.
