@GetSpectrum why can’t I add TV service to my mobile plan? I don’t need home Internet, but I do need TV service and apparently you can’t get standalone TV service on spectrum? That should be an option

@Ask_Spectrum The entire Rancho Sienna neighborhood in Georgetown TX is sick of all the outages. I have direct accounts of 30 Spectrum customers all complaining of intermittent disconnects. When we call support, we're told that we should try reversing our ethernet cables between our Firewalls/Routers and the cable modems. Your lack of serious engagement is leading us all to conclude we should move to @Starlink . PM me if you want to try and salvage your local customer base.

@GetSpectrum @bluetoothbby You don’t care about customer’s concerns or helping them. You tell them “don’t worry if you miss the payment deadline that they can just pay the bill plus a reconnection fee and their service will be back on in an hour.” That’s not good business practice. Spectrum is trash!!

I wish @Ask_Spectrum would provide some update on outages to customers. Just issuing a blanket statement such as you’re currently in an outage, we’re working on it, our customer service agents can’t tell you anything else so don’t ask is completely unacceptable!

Circle Pines Spectrum outages — local patterns

Charter Spectrum's Circle Pines, MN footprint is part of a larger Minnesota plant built on a mix of aerial and underground plant across the Spectrum footprint. The most frequent outage drivers here are severe weather, planned overnight node maintenance, backbone fiber cuts from construction, and utility power events that take amplifiers offline. When report volume rises across neighborhoods such as central, the live console usually lights up before Spectrum's own status tools catch every local node. Watch ZIP codes like 55014 for the earliest neighborhood spikes.

How to check Spectrum outages in Circle Pines

Confirm whether Spectrum is down in Circle Pines in under 5 minutes.

  1. 1. Check the live Circle Pines map

Look at the live status on this page. Report volume above the baseline for Circle Pines means an active outage.

  2. 2. Verify with your ZIP

Enter your ZIP to see localized report volume across Circle Pines instead of the broader total.

  3. 3. Rule out your equipment

Only reboot your modem (unplug 60 seconds) if the map is quiet. If reports are spiking, the issue is upstream and a reboot won't help.

  4. 4. Report your outage

Submit a report so other Circle Pines customers can confirm they're not alone.

  5. 5. Request a bill credit

If the outage lasts more than a couple of hours, contact Spectrum with the start time and your service address to request a prorated credit.

Spectrum not working in Circle Pines? Troubleshoot it in order

Separate a local Circle Pines Spectrum fault from a problem inside your own home.

  1. 1. No internet at all, modem online light off or blinking

Check the live Circle Pines status first. If reports are climbing, the issue is Spectrum's plant — a reboot cannot fix it, so log a report and wait for restoration.

  2. 2. Internet is connected but nothing loads

Compare against the map: quiet map in Circle Pines means power-cycle the modem for 60 seconds and let it re-sync for 2–3 minutes; busy map means the fault is on Spectrum's side.

  3. 3. WiFi works, but only some devices lose service

Router-side issue local to your home, not a network outage. Reboot the router only (not the modem), reconnect on the 5 GHz SSID, then re-test. Flat Circle Pines reports confirm it is inside your home.

  4. 4. TV or cable box out, internet fine

A video-tier fault scoped to the Circle Pines headend rather than the data plant. If TV report volume is spiking on its own, no equipment reset is needed.

  5. 5. Service drops repeatedly for a few minutes at a time

Intermittent ingress on plant is common during storms. Log each drop with timestamps from this page, then request a line technician referencing the Circle Pines report pattern.

  6. 6. Whole street is out and utility power is also down

Grid event — Spectrum amplifiers draw power from the same feeders. Spectrum service in Circle Pines typically returns shortly after grid power is back. This is usually a local plant issue, not your modem.

The outage information on this page is based on user reports and local service indicators.
