We moved my father-in-law into a home in our neighborhood this weekend. And while setting up his wifi I had to massively update my priors. @GetSpectrum no longer charges monthly for modems/routers, and provides an actually good tri-band wifi 7 router for free. You can even pay $5/mo to get an extender (that has 3 ethernet ports to hard-wire it and additional devices around it!). Whether this was strictly a support move to reduce support headaches with 3rd party routers (their router uses cloud-m

@Wolfways44 @GetSpectrum Nope. I haven't had their cable in 20 years. I just know their internet is slow. I am on a fiber line which they can't touch.

@MeyerShankRac @GetSpectrum Prob not the best sponsorship to be proud of. They literally operate illegally as a monopoly. $140/mo for $80 service solely because they're the only one in the region. Then they don't even provide the $80 service. 20mbps for $140/mo at the moment. Absolutwly illegal.

@Ask_Spectrum That doesn't work for me. There are NO details. It's not a technical problem. Whoever programmed the new Guide saw fit to not include date and day on the screen. It was on the old Guide screen. Kinda dumb.

And please heed MY cautionary tale of a HORRIBLE TECH COMPANY! THEY "CANCELED" MY NON-EXISTENT SERVICES TODAY. IM SURE NEXT THEY WILL SEND ME TO Collections FOR Charges THEY SHOULD NOT BE ASKING FOR.
